At Manchester Motor Company, we aim to provide our customers with quality used cars and excellent customer service. However, we understand that occasionally, you may need to return a vehicle. Please read our returns policy carefully to understand the process and any applicable charges.
Eligibility for Return
Timeframe: You may return your used car within 14 days of the purchase date.
Condition: The car must be in the same condition as when purchased, without any additional damage or significant wear and tear.
Return Process
Notification: Notify us of your intention to return the car by contacting our customer service team within the 14-day return period.
Inspection: The vehicle will be inspected upon return to assess its condition.
Return Charges
Mileage Fee:
A charge of £1 per mile will apply for the distance covered from the time of purchase to the time of return.
Damage Fee:
Any additional damage to the car beyond normal wear and tear will incur extra charges. The cost of these damages will be assessed during the inspection.
Return Delivery:
If you choose to deliver the car back to our site, no additional delivery charge will apply.
If you prefer us to collect the car, a collection fee of £2 per mile will be charged based on the distance from your location to our site.
Change of Ownership Fee:
If an additional owner has been added to the vehicle during your ownership, a change of ownership fee of £300 will be deducted from your refund.
Refund Process
Calculation: The refund amount will be calculated by deducting the mileage fee, any damage charges, collection fees (if applicable) and change of owner fee from the original purchase price.
Payment: Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the car being returned and inspected.
